Frank Chodorov

Frank Chodorov was born Feburary 15, 1887-1966 on the lower east side of New York. He grew up on the west side of New York. His father, an immigrant, who like many others, took to peddling as a means of making a living, brought me a toy of some sort form one of his trips, maybe the fact that this was the only one i ever had, if memory serves me right, an indelible impression on me.

As a vocation, peddling has long since gone out of style in this country, and the image of the peddler that has remained is not a glamorous one. Yet, the peddler must be given credit for helping to build the great American economy. He began his enterprise by bringing to the hinterland a modest pack on his back, as much as he had capital for, selling the contents and returning to his distributing point as soon as possible. He lived frugally, saved much of the proceeds of his sales, and invested his savings in a larger pack.

This is the story of most of the department stores, the merchandise marts, that dot the American landscape today; they began with a pack on some peddler's back. Indeed, it is the story in broad outline of many of the industries that make up the American economy, from steel to automobile; some pioneer, beginning in a small way, exercised industry and thrift and plowed back his savings into his business to serve the needs of the community. He might have, as conditions warranted, borrowed the savings of others to expand his enterprise, but until he had demonstrated his ability to render service, and the need for it, his capital consisted mainly of his own savings.

Now, the peddler, using the term figuratively, was the backbone of the American economic and social system. He was the middle-class man who prided himself on his initiative, self-reliance, independence and, above all, his integrity. He might be shrewd and even grasping, but he never asked for favors and certainly did not expect society to take care of him.

What about the excess — that is, the amount by which the amount collected exceeds the amount paid? Don't look there for hope or for some of your “I put it in” money. The government spends that excess as part of its general welfare-state expenditures. In return, it inserts government “IOUs” into the so-called Social Security fund. What that means is that federal officials are promising to pay the Social Security money back, with interest, that they are spending.

The entire Social Security scheme is a lie and a fraud of monumental proportions — and has been since the very beginning. If someone in the private sector tried something like this, he'd be serving a long sentence in a federal penitentiary.Let's divide Social Security recipients into two categories — those who truly depend on the government's largess and those who don't because they are already sufficiently wealthy. Those who aren't financially dependent on Social Security could be cut off immediately. If people wish to make a donation to someone who is financially well off, they can do that privately and voluntarily.

The implicit reason, according to the bureaucrats, is that Americans cannot be trusted to voluntarily help their parents. That is, if Social Security taxes were abolished, children would sooner let their parents die in the streets than voluntarily help them out. Or to put it another way, only bureaucrats, not regular people, can be trusted to help people in need, albeit with money extracted from regular people through the force of the IRS.

The argument of the social security is a continuation of america's premier socialists program and that american's can be trust to take care of themselves or parents. Thats wProxy-Connection: keep-alive

Have I earned more money in the first 3 months of this year than I did this time last year?  How much money have I earned? Yes, i have earned a little more money. I do not know exactly how much i have earned but i have seen the difference it increased from last year at this time. With this money i buy myself things. Things that are useful for my home, job, helping my parents pay bills, and sometimes when i have left overs i put the rest on my bank account.

How did I earn this money? I earned this money by me working at gamestop. I have a job there. Also i earn money by singing when i have to do presentations i get paid or when i do concerts. Also i earn money by helping my father sale cars at a express sale.

With the money that I have earned or received so far this year, what have I purchased?  Of these purchases, which ones, if any, serve my business or job interests?  Well i have only purchase 2 things. I have purchase clothing which it became about 150 dollars, and a nintendo 3ds for my sister. Yes, only my clothing is for my 2 jobs. The nintendo 3ds is for my sister's birthday. So far, thats all i have purchased.

What specific productive and valuable skills have I learned so far this year that I am most proud of? Well, i have learned that i know how to talk to unknown people more, i learned how to talk to a bad costumer, and i have learned how to make eye contact with someone i am talking to.

At school, where have my best efforts been applied? Well, the only class that i have learned how to be better is my career awareness class. The teacher (Mr. Walgenbach) he has tought me how to manage my money and how to be a successful employee.

What objectives will I accomplish between now and the end of the school year that will serve my goals building my career and or business? I hope i acconplish my skills for an interview at a job. Also how to be more open with other people how to commuicate.

So far this year, I am most proud of myself. Myself because i have more skills on things that i was really not success at. Also because i have improved in school a lot more than the last three years i  high school. This is my best year in high school because and i have learned from my mistakes and have improved on my work and behavior in all my classes. I am still working on that still, but i am sure that by the end of this yProxy-Connection: keep-alive Cache-Control: max-age=0 Proxy-Connection: keep-alive Cache-Control: max-age=0 xy-Connection: keep-aProxy-Connection: keep-alive

a. Summarize his/her personal background: When and where was he born, who were his parents, what did the parents do, where did he go to school, what were his first business ventures, etc.
luis miguel was born on april 19th 1970 in San juan , Puerto Rico.  his parents name were luis rey and marcella basteri. his dad was a spanish singer and his mom was a model of italian ancestry.

Explain his/her vision for the first company and or first product. Where did the vision come from?

In addition to the criticism of his music as staid and florid, Miguel also faced pressure to join the trend toward recording in English that swept the Latin music scene in the late 1990s. After Ricky Martin and Marc Anthony achieved major success in the United States with English-language releases, many eagerly awaited Miguel's first release aimed at the American market. Despite pleas from his record company to follow the crossover wave, however, Miguel insisted on sticking with his own musical vision. "I love my language, and I am proud of Spanish," he told Billboard in 1999. "Now is not the right time for me to sing in English—maybe in the future, who knows?" Instead, Miguel pushed his artistic boundaries by acting in the movie Fiebre de Amor and making an appearance on the soundtrack as well.
